Intake Pit

It is used to transport the product to the machines or be processed or to be stored.

The intake pit is manufactured in standard or custom dimensions to suit the installation area and elevator product inlet.
An adjustable gate is fitted in front of the elevator to control the product intake rate.
The product flow ramp is made from 2.5, 3 or 4 mm sheet steel.
The product flow ramp is reinforced with ribs made from 60 × 60 × 6 mm L-section steel, to which the sheet panels are attached.
The ramp is fitted with a grating made from 15 × 50 mm flat steel or Ø30, Ø35 or Ø40 mm bars, spaced at 30, 35 or 40 mm intervals.
A base made from 140, 160 or 200 N.P.U. steel channels is installed beneath the grating to provide the required strength.
