A sizing screen that accurately and consistently grades hazelnuts according to nut size.

Intended Use

The machine grades pre-cleaned in-shell hazelnuts at the plant into the required size categories. The number and sequence of screens can be increased or reduced according to the capacity and desired sizes.

Technical Specifications

  • The machine frame is manufactured from St37 square-section steel profiles.
  • The screen plates are manufactured from DKP cold-rolled sheet steel.
  • The screen has a diameter of Ø1,050 mm and a length of 6,000 mm, enabling high-capacity, precise size grading.
  • Number of Screens: 6 in the standard configuration (can be increased on request).
  • A special double-row roller system prevents the screen openings from becoming blocked.
  • The sides of the machine are enclosed by large inspection and maintenance doors.
  • Machine capacity varies according to the grading diameter.
  • Motor: 1.5 kW geared motor.
